Astonish Fann, BA (they/she)

You might feel like you’re constantly trying to be someone you’re not – shrinking, shapeshifting, and stretching yourself to fit into boxes that were never meant for you. Maybe you’re questioning your identity, navigating deep-seated shame around your sexuality, or struggling with how you relate to your body. Maybe you’ve never quite felt like you belonged – in your family, in your relationships, or even in your own skin.

And maybe you’re tired of carrying that alone.

You deserve a space where you don’t have to explain every word and define every part of yourself. Where you can show up without the mask. Where the weight you’ve been carrying is named, honored, and slowly unpacked – not alone, but together. If you’re sorting through questions around identity, desire, your place in the world, therapy with me can be a place to begin again – with support, at your pace.

I work with people who are tired of following scripts that were never written with them in mind – folks navigating sexual shame, identity confusion, disconnection from their bodies, or a deep sense of not belonging.  Instead of staying stuck in roles that leave you feeling anxious, exhausted, or numb, we’ll work toward building a sense of safety, connection, love, and pleasure.

You might begin to notice more self-compassion. A growing sense of agency. Moments where you feel free to take up space – as your full, complex self.

I bring in a background in sex education, where I’ve spent years talking with individuals about the harm of societal messages around identity and sexuality. What’s continued to move me the most is watching people light up when they realize: it doesn’t have to be this way. That same spark – the pull toward something more authentic and affirming – is at the heart of my therapy work.

In our work together, we’ll start by building trust. I move at your pace, centering your needs and honoring the experiences that brought you here. I approach therapy through a feminist, intersectional lens – acknowledging the systems that shape how you see yourself and how you’re seen. As we unpack the layers, you might feel anger towards society, grief around a sense of lost time, a growing curiosity and a sense of possibility.

All of that is welcome here. And you don’t have to do it alone – I’ll be here with you, every step of the way.
