Hey, I'm Kat

any pronoun, LMSW

I’m a therapist who specializes in sex & gender, relationships, and trauma. I’m passionate about working with individuals and relationships (of all structures) who know that they have the capacity to heal but feel stuck or limited. Oftentimes these feelings can arise from societal pressures to conform, living in a sex-negative society, or relationship and systemic trauma. Sex & relationship therapy can be a good fit for improving the relational quality of your life, shedding limiting beliefs, and accessing desire as a tool for living well. We’ll work together to cultivate a greater sense of understanding, wholeness, and authenticity.

My Practice

I believe in the transformational power of relational healing. I promise to show up as a human first and therapist second. Your therapy journey with me will be individualized, collaborative, and we will move at your pace. I draw from somatic practices, Parts Work, feminist and humanist lenses, and attachment theory to craft a tailored approach. Some constants in my practice include slowing down, getting curious about patterns, learning how to listen to your body, and uplifting pleasure in the day-to-day. My practice is LGBTQIA+, sex worker, poly & kink affirming, sex positive, and trauma-informed. I identify as queer, neurodivergent, and as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and many of the folks I work with share these identities.
