Currently, Rafaella Smith-Fiallo, LCSW is the only provider who accepts insurance and is in network with Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, and UnitedHealthcare. All other providers are private pay.

Having out-of-network benefits means that your insurance may pay for a portion of the out-of-pocket rate. Contact your insurance provider to inquire about your out-of-network coverage, deductible, if you need a referral, and reimbursement process.

How it typically works:

• You would pay the full out-of-pocket rate.

• You would submit the claim to your insurance by submitting a "Super bill/invoice/receipt", which would be available through the client portal. A super bill is a document, like a receipt, which includes date of service(s), length of session(s), treatment code, diagnostic code, and rate of service.

• Your insurance provider will issue you a check for the covered amount as reimbursement.

Yes. We use a self-select sliding scale for our services in which you choose the amount that feels right for you -- no additional questions or paperwork required. Those who are able to pay at the higher end help make lower rates possible for others. We also offer lower-cost options with interns, if needed. Need more support? • Insurance can be billed for psychotherapy services as determined by the insurer's policy.

Healing Exchange charges a $75 fee for all no call/no show incidents and late cancellations. To avoid this fee, please cancel your appointment through the portal or contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled session.

In accordance with the No Surprises Act (H.R. 3630), we will gladly provide you with a Good Faith Estimate to help you review and understand anticipated therapy costs. This Good Faith Estimate explains your therapist’s rate for each service provided. Your therapist will collaborate with you throughout your treatment to determine how many sessions and/or services you may need to receive the greatest benefit based on your diagnosis(es)/presenting clinical concerns.
