ABOUT ME

HEALING_EXCHANGE_HEADSHOT_101825 (10 of 22).jpg

I'm Cassidy Brown

PLPC, she/her

I'm here to help you discover what it means to feel into your body, gently and curiously. I know it might sound intimidating at times, but the body is where everything happens and it's time we re-connect with it and with self. I'm a certified yoga instructor in the STL area and I look forward to adding a bit of movement to your mental health and healing practice.

MY PRACTICE

My practice is informed by feminist and queer theories, which guide me in understanding how systems of power and oppression shape our experiences. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ folks as they explore identity, intimacy, and resilience within and beyond these contexts. I offer couples therapy for those wanting to build deeper connections, repair ruptures, and grow together with greater authenticity and care.

"Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary."
