Hybrid Options for your Relationship
In addition to the traditional long-term, weekly therapy approach, Healing Exchange offers a variety of services for those who would benefit from short-term support, are not able to commit to weekly therapy at the time, or who have a specific need they want to address. These services have been created for relationships of all structures and identities who identify as being in a 'good place' in their relationship and are looking for education and support in the following areas:
improving communication and conflict management
exploring the role of intimacy and enhancing the experience
discussing sex and sexuality in the relationship
enhancing sexual experiences through increasing intimacy, centering playfulness, and exploring desire
supporting a partner during their mental wellness journey or sexual concerns
increasing feelings of safety and vulnerability in conversation and in the relationship
If you and your partner(s) are seeking education and insight around a specific question or concern, then this may be for you! During a 1.5-hour consultation, we will work to better understand the concern together. This includes a comprehensive relationship check-in and feedback, education around mental health and sexuality, resources and recommendations for moving forward.
Solution-Focused in 8 Sessions
Whether you've been in a relationship for a few months or years, this package was designed to teach you skills for enhancing and strengthening your connection through the use of research-based interventions, such as storytelling, role-playing, education, and other exercises. We will meet over the course of about one month, in which the first four sessions will occur in the first week and the remaining sessions spread out weekly.
Over the course of 3 days, Friday through Sunday, we will meet for five (5) hours each day for this short-term therapy method, also known as marathon therapy or relationship intensive therapy. The purpose is to explore a current crisis or specific issue in the relationship and help begin creating the map to resolve it. The structure will vary depending on your needs and we will establish therapeutic goals and a treatment plan at the beginning of our work together.
